We sang this song in church today and I have heard it before but today I felt like I heard it for the first time. I went into church today feeling discouraged by the situations around me, discouraged that my prayers are taking so long to be answered. During worship I prayed that God would show me, in my circumstances, his love for me. I really felt like he responded back to me, I have already shown you on the cross how much I love you, and despite the storms around me, the tough things I am going through, he wants to touch me with an overwhelming feeling of his love. Things don't have to make sense around me, prayers don't have to be answered today because I know he is working behind the scenes, but today when I press in to Him, he can fill me with his endless love and a peace that surpasses all understanding. After that moment I had with God during worship, we sang this song, listen and read the words of it, it's so powerful! I am so PROUD of you, Jenn!! I am seeing that it is a real faith leap to put your heart out there on the web for all to read, but maybe not even comment! It's like someone having x-ray vision to se your heart and soul, but not even leave their mark! So easy for me to type my little blurbs here and there and move on, but to throw your heart out there like a net is quite another, but God said to do it! thanks for leading the way!:)
